What began as a shared creative idea between Michel Böhmler, Amar Osmanovic, and myself evolved into a close collaboration with BMW Niederlassung Wien. At a time when the dealership was reimagining its entire brand experience, our collective vision aligned - to craft a film that celebrates not only driving, but connection, heritage, and emotion.
At its core, the project embodies how BMW connects people with their city — blending timeless design with the rhythm of urban life. It’s a story about movement and meaning, where the drive becomes the common thread that unites individuals, places, and moments. Rooted in Vienna’s spirit and BMW’s longstanding presence since 1988, the film reflects a shared pursuit of elegance, authenticity, and experience.
Scope of Work
Concept Development & Pre-Production
As a team we shaped the narrative, storyboard, and full production framework. From concept and location scouting to callsheets and talent coordination. The storyline was crafted to mirror BMW’s values: sophistication, connection, and an enduring spirit of driving.
Production
Spanning four shoot days, the film was captured across Vienna’s most recognizable locations, blending dynamic car sequences with intimate lifestyle moments. The production emphasized authenticity and movement, ensuring each scene felt both cinematic and grounded.
Post-Production
Through refined editing and a premium color grade, the final piece achieved a tone that reflects BMW’s luxurious identity. Careful collaboration with BMW ensured brand alignment and consistency across all stages of post-production.
The Result
A cinematic short film that celebrates BMW’s enduring connection with Vienna and its people - highlighting how the brand continues to bring people together through shared journeys and meaningful experiences.
The final film will be released publicly once all clearances are complete. In the meantime, selected stills and frames from the production offer a glimpse into the story’s atmosphere and visual tone.
